Wave are proud to announce that major marina operator MDL have installed a Wavebrite grey water system, supplied by Halyard Marine, in their new floating office in Ocean Village Marina, Southampton to process overboard waste water protecting the marina environment from pollution.
The system is designed to remove contaminants from grey water before discharging overboard using Wavebrite’s four stage filtration media system eliminating the requirement for holding tanks and associated hose connections valves and pumps. The system is supplied as a kit with all components required for simple installation in any vessel, floating office or live aboard.
Oliver Witt, Project Manager from MDL said “The Wavebrite system is an excellent solution to the problem of grey water discharge into the marine environment. The compact system is a key part of ensuring the Ocean Village floating office is a sustainable and functional space that contributes towards MDL’s ongoing commitment of sustainability and environmental awareness”
Both Halyard and Wave International are very pleased to have MDL, a world leading marina owner and operator, choose Wavebrite for the Ocean Village Marina. This is a valued approval of the system and reflects the need to keep our seas, oceans and inland waterways clean.
