The Ocean Signal RescueMe PLB3 is an advanced AIS personal locator beacon designed to maximize safety at sea. It integrates the global Cospas-Sarsat network (406 MHz, MEOSAR), a 121.5 MHz homing signal, and AIS, alerting both global rescue authorities and nearby vessels. The PLB3 features visible and infrared strobe lights, ensuring optimal detection day or night. Its antenna deploys easily, and semi-automatic activation via a lifejacket guarantees quick operation in all situations.
Innovative, it provides the first NFC smartphone connectivity for a PLB, allowing users to check battery status, GNSS self-test history, and device lifespan directly via the Ocean Signal mobile app. The Return Link Service (RLS) confirms that your distress signal has been received and your position detected by search and rescue teams, offering added peace of mind.
