When the reflector receives a radar signal, it amplifies it and sends it back. Thus amplified, the return signal is much more easily detected by vessels in the area, limiting the risk of collision.
Two models:

  • Active XS reflector that reacts to X- and S-band radar frequencies.
  • Active X reflector that reacts to X-band radar frequencies.

Each model comes as standard with an antenna, 24 m of connection cable and a control box incorporating an audible and LED alarm.
