In the WEMA system, the electrical contacts inside a sealed tube are opened or closed by the passage of a magnetic float flowing over the tube. There are no moving mechanical parts and no electrical currents in the tank that could electrolytically attack nearby metal. They are insulated from ground and are suitable for aluminium boats.
S3 level sensors are available in fixed sizes measured from the top of the thread. The free distance between the bottom of the tank and the bottom of the gauge increases the volume of the tank.
